Past Event - Resident Fete

• Where: Caesia Gardens Retirement Village

The residents of Caesia Gardens celebrated on Sunday November 13 by holding their annual fete.

The resident fete included a sausage sizzle, devonshire tea, hand made crafts and children's entertainment such as a face painter. It also gave guests an opportunity to take tours of the village, including the five new homes.

Past Event - Christmas Choir Performance

All residents and guests were invited to a Christmas Choir Performance by students of St. George Preca Primary School on Thursday December 15

Guests were also welcome to take an informal look at our village and enjoy a cup of tea.

Congratulations to Mrs. Sylvia McIntosh for attending was drawn as the winner of the $1,000 Coles Group & Myer Gift Card

Past Event - Derek Redfern - Live at Caesia Gardens

Residents and guests at Caesia Gardens had the opportunity to enjoy Young Talent Time star Derek Redfern perform at a recent special village performance.

In a one off show held on Wednesday 18 April 2012, Derek brought his infectious performing style to our Community Centre’s intimate surrounds. Residents and guests were able to get up-close and personal to this Australian music idol and hear him perform his greatest 70’s hits.

It was also the perfect opportunity for guests to mingle with the residents and get a feel for what our village is about.

Our hosts, Gail and Dianne invite you to attend one of our regular monthly morning tea's. Complimentary devonshire tea, scones and jam/cream will be made available.

Held on the first Tuesday each month our morning teas are the perfect opportunity for guests to mingle with the residents and get a feel for what our village is about.

Gail and Dianne will also make themselves available to take guests on tours of the new display homes and the Community Centre.

Past Event - Street BBQ

• Where: Caesia Gardens Retirement Village

Caesia Gardens hosted a barbecue street party to celebrate its newly released homes on Sunday October 23.

Visitors were able to tour the village, including the five new homes.

Caesia Garden's Gail Monument said the party included a sausage sizzle, a roving jazz performer and children's entertainment. "The village's new bocce field was also open for games, as was the bowling green and outdoor chess set. A fun day was experienced by all" Gail said.

Past Event - John Patrick lends a hand at the gardening workshop

Local residents had the opportunity to have all of their gardening questions answered when renowned garden expert John Patrick visited Caesia Gardens on Sunday, May 1 to host a Gardening Workshop, open to the wider community.

John Patrick is a Landscape Architect who has been involved in TV presenting and garden writing for more than 20 years. On the day he shared a wealth of knowledge on garden design, including handy tips on maintenance, sustainable practices, and choosing the right plant for the right location.

The day was also a great opportunity to have a look at the homes and facilities at Caesia Gardens for those considering retirement living. Caesia Gardens is designed with the natural environment in mind – each residence in the community takes advantage of sustainable measures such as natural sunlight, rainwater tanks, water-efficient showers and taps.

The community is close to a beautiful lake and wetlands and getting close to nature is certainly something many of our residents enjoy.
