"I play a lot of sport so I wanted to live somewhere central where I could still enjoy my life outside of the village. We have a great Club House here at Allora Gardens with a beautiful swimming pool and gymnasium. I also use the library on a regular basis. When I first moved here I was overwhelmed by all the facilities that I had access to and wanted to do everything!”
“Some people think the rules and regulations relating to retirement resorts are too restrictive but we see them as a positive thing. They are there to protect all residents by making sure we have a peaceful and quiet environment to enjoy our retirement. It was reassuring to know that management was strict about the type of people they allow to move into the village.
“My wife Pat and I have a wonderful balance when it comes to our social life. We spend half our time outside the village and the other half taking part in activities here at Allora Gardens. I think once you establish that kind of balance you are bound to live a very happy retirement in the village.”
