Less than five kilometres from Allora Gardens you’ll find Maroochydore beach. Because it’s patrolled year-round by lifeguards, it’s a sensational spot to swim and surf, sun bathe or just watch the passing parade.

Take a walk along the paved promenade, and call in to the many beachside shops, restaurants and cafes. Or you can pack a picnic and make use of the extensive beachside barbeque facilities.

The Maroochydore Surf Lifesaving Club is a great place to enjoy a drink on the deck, or perhaps a flutter in the gaming lounge.

When you want a change of scenery, the beaches of Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba are just a kilometre or two to the south.

Five-star facilities

At Allora Gardens there is no shortage of ways to spend the day with five-star facilities on your doorstep. Choose from two swimming pools: an indoor heated pool and an outdoor pool for the summer. Or stay on land in the covered entertainment area and meet friends for a barbeque.

The large, modern Clubhouse has a wealth of recreation facilities like a fully-equipped gymnasium, library, billiard table, table tennis and indoor bowls. What’s more, the Clubhouse has a consulting room for medical practitioners, podiatrist and masseur, and a salon or a visiting hairdresser and beautician.

One of the best things about Allora Gardens is its location.

Sunshine Plaza

Only a couple of kilometres away is the fabulous Sunshine Plaza, the largest and most popular shopping destination on the Sunshine Coast. The Plaza has over 220 specialty stores, a 12 screen cinema, Best & Less, Coles, Kmart, Myer and Target.

The Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk overlooks the picturesque Cornmeal Creek, which runs through the complex. You’ll even find paddle boats for hire. Lots of restaurants, cafes and a tavern overlook the water, providing plenty of choice to stop, sit and refresh.

For those who don't drive, Allora Gardens provides a twice weekly bus service to and from Sunshine Plaza.
