A lifestyle to suit everyone

Modern retirement villages are a far cry from the ‘one size fits all’ mentality of the past. Lend Lease Primelife retirement villages in particular cater for just about everybody’s tastes. Whether you’re the sporty type, an arts and crafts enthusiast, food and wine connoisseur, or any number of persuasions, you’ll be able to find a Lend Lease Primelife village that has all of the things that you love most in life!

Moving to a retirement village frees up a lot of your time, as some of the chores you would normally need to worry about are the responsibility of the village manager. For example, the maintenance and upkeep of all the community facilities, so if your village has a pool all you need to do is swim in it!

Life at a Lend Lease Primelife retirement village can be as busy and social, or as relaxing and quiet as you like.

Facilities fit for a resort

The latest villages come fully equipped with resort-style recreational facilities and community centres. This will often include indoor heated swimming pools and spas, bars, dining areas and lounges, business and library centres, hair and beauty, consulting rooms, auditoriums and lecture theatres. Sporting facilities can also include golf courses, tennis courts, gymnasiums and full size bowling greens.

Let someone else do the work

Maintaining the upkeep of your house and garden can be a real pain, especially when you’ve got better things to do. That’s why our villages have on-site managers and staff to take care of all of that for you. With the upkeeping of the community facilities taken care of, all you need to do is enjoy them. And the manager and staff are there with other helpful tips and advice. Want to know the nearest kennel for your much loved pet while you’re away? Want the name of the local physio? The manager will be happy to recommend someone.

The freedom to travel on a whim

Your home’s security is possibly in the back of your mind every time you go away. But wouldn’t it be nice to be, say on a gondola in Venice, without it niggling away at you? Being able to lock up and leave your home, knowing that your friends and neighbours and the village team are keeping an eye on things, is just one of the advantages of retirement village living.

Comfortably secure

Some of our communities are secured at night time with electronic gates and entry requires keypad access. So the only people coming in or out are residents and invited guests.

The other difference you’ll discover is homes in most Lend Lease Primelife retirement villages have a 24-hour emergency call system. So help is only the press of a button away.

Gardners

Be as busy as you like

Most of our residents say they’ve never been busier, but in a good way! And there is no pressure to do anything you don’t want to. Leisure pursuits, sporting clubs and social activities are a significant and popular part of all of our villages. From bowling clubs to tai chi classes, arts and crafts to gardening groups, computer classes to jazz bands; the options seem endless.

Most villages offer a range of arts and crafts programs, bowls and pool competitions, movie nights and gardening activities. There will be frequent outings to local shops and events, organised through the village bus for those who don’t want to drive.

And don’t forget, most of our villages have a range of services offered on-site. This can include hair and beauty services, and visiting medical practitioners, masseurs and yoga instructors.
