Peace of mind

Most Lend Lease low-level care facilities offer “Ageing in Place” which ensures that all residents are provided with the appropriate level of care according to their needs. For most residents, this removes the need to relocate to another facility as their nursing care increases.

Our low-level care and high-level care facilities provide responsive and adaptable care, by ensuring an adequate number of dedicated staff with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet the care needs of our residents. All facilities have qualified staff working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to support high quality care. All facilities employ Registered Nurses to oversee safe administration of medication and enable nursing duties to be carried out appropriately.

Lend Lease has access to doctors who are on call at all times and in addition to this, each resident has an allocated General Practitioner who may be the General Practitioner they had prior to admission. This assists with continuity of care. Lend Lease is committed to providing ongoing support to all visiting General Practitioners.

The Lend Lease Difference

To further assist with the provision of the highest quality of care, Lend Lease has a commitment to ongoing professional development and education for all staff. And by adopting the following important initiatives, we make Lend Lease the first choice for care –

  • Lend Lease only employs qualified Registered Nurses and Patient Care Attendants who hold a minimum Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • Lend Lease encourages eligible employees, through sponsorship, to up-skill their existing qualifications. By undertaking further training to achieve registration as a Division 2 nurse, they have the opportunity to expand their Professional Development.
  • Lend Lease ensures that all mandatory training requirements including Infection Control, Basic Life Support, Occupational Health and Safety and Fire Safety, are met by all staff.
  • Lend Lease provides ongoing training and professional development in specialised areas, to ensure that all staff have current clinical skills, which are then assessed on an annual basis.

This is the Lend Lease Difference!
